KEY LARGO — On a clear day you can see almost forever.
From 450-feet above Florida Bay you can scan the horizon from
Islamorada to the 18-Mile Stretch. You can see over Key Largo to
Rodriguez and Tavernier keys. There are no clouds this summer
afternoon and the bay waters are gin clear. ......more at:

Bay'

Good day Captain,
Attached is a photo one of our party took from your boat
on the evening of the 11th of this month. You hosted Bob
Fakundiny, myself and our wives on a "three hour tour", complete
with champagne, for which we thank you again. Nice break from the
meeting of the Association of American State Geologists.
Best regards,

Keeping Kool in Key Largo
By Debbie Kautz Timmons
Watersports
There is much to do above and below the water: swimming, sailing.
jet skiing, windsurfing, and kayaking are just a few of the water
sports visitors to the Keys can enjoy. All you need is your
swimsuit, sunscreen, and a sense of adventure, and Caribbean
Watersports will supply the rest. Located on the beach at the
Sheraton Key Largo Resort, they have something for all ages, and
will make sure you stay "kool in the Keys." A great knowledge of
the area, good instructors, and certified captains ensure your
family remains safe.
Some places really know how to help vacationers have a good time;
Caribbean Watersports is one of them. They offer a wide variety of
activities, and help you create an itinerary to fit your schedule
and budget. I really appreciated their flexibility. When the wind
or waves prevented us from pursuing one activity, they were quick
to help us find something else just as fun and exciting. Their
personalized attention made us feel as if we were their only
customers.
If you want to play above the water, try windsurfing or jet skiing
for an exciting ride. Caribbean Watersports' instructors will have
you skimming across the water in no time…or at least falling off
your board in style.

Or rent a wave runner, the fast, sit-on-type jet skis that ride
one to three persons at a time. A more peaceful way to enjoy the
water is in a kayak, sailboat or paddleboat. Kids and kayaks go
together. Caribbean Watersports has simple sit-on-top kayaks for
kids, as well as tandem kayaks and paddleboats perfect for family
paddling or pedaling.
Set sail on a 13' Hobie Wave or the faster 16' Hobie Getaway.
Instruction is available, or join a Sailing Safari if you'd rather
have a captain at the helm.
If you are of the even more adventurous type,
you may want to view
the beauty of the islands from the air while suspended from a
colorful parasail. Caribbean Watersports offers the most
spectacular parasailing flights available in the Keys. Fly solo or
tandem, or just enjoy the ride on the boat while someone else in
your family sails through the air.
The Florida Keys are unique in that you can watch the sun rise
over the Atlantic Ocean and watch it set over the Florida Bay/Gulf
of Mexico. Both the sunrises and sunsets are spectacular. Toast
the end of the day aboard Caribbean Watersports' Caribbean Cruiser
on a 1-1/2 hour Champagne Cruise. For schedules, prices and to

Fourth of July Caribbean Express Fireworks Cruise a Success! July 4, 2004
The Fireworks Cruise departed at 7:30 from the Sheraton's dock, headed
for Sun Downers on the Bay at Mile Marker 104 Key Largo. While enjoying
a two big sushi boat platters and satay in route, everyone enjoyed toasting
to a super sunset at 8:16, the Caribbean Express arrived at port at 8:30.
Those who had reservations for dinner left the boat, the rest stretched their
legs, and nosed about the property to return to appetizers brought to the
boat. By 9:30 the darken bay was full of boats riding at anchor, maybe
1000 or more. When the first shell exploded, the crowd cheered. Time and
time again, the sky was flashed with reds, whites and blues and every other
color. And cheers would follow. After 25 mins. the last of the fireworks heralded
the end. Only to be followed by all the boats blasting their horns and shouts
from the crowds. On the way back to the Sheraton we could see the almost
full moon rising from the east. Happy 4th of July!
